Hello! My name is Andriy Zelensky and I am the founder of “ Shapes Sewing”, online lingerie sewing courses. I live and work in Ukraine, in Zaporizhzhya. My journey in creating lingerie began in 2017, when I decided to become a lingerie designer.
First of all, I decided that I would learn a new profession in order to create elegant lingerie and, later, sell it. After a year of studying at various courses, I created my online store, calling it "Shapes Lingerie".
After a year of working in the field of custom lingerie sewing, I decided to hold an online workshop on sewing a lingerie set. After seeing the high appreciation of my work from the students, I decided to continue. Thus was born the online lingerie sewing courses "Shapes Sewing", which initially focused on teaching students from Ukraine.
I conscientiously engaged in the development of the school. Free time became less and less, so custom lingerie sewing took a back seat, and then it paused.
In the fall of 2021, after having established the work of the school with my team, I decided to resume sewing lingerie for sale by opening a small shop. But later, after the start of a full-scale war in Ukraine, I had to choose between a school that had already grown and become well-known in the sewing community, and a lingerie brand that I had to start working on virtually from scratch. I chose to work on my online school, shutting down production and once again putting my dream of a big lingerie brand on the back burner.
Now, working with my lingerie school, I aim to teach my students how to sew quality and comfortable lingerie. I am a perfectionist and try to create the highest possible quality content for my students, make as detailed video lessons as possible and teach how to sew high quality and comfortable lingerie.
Now, my team and I have hundreds of students who have completed our courses. The lingerie they create and their reviews give us confidence in our work and inspire us.
From the beginning of 2025, my team and I decided to start teaching in English, gradually translating our school's educational material.
